Bushnell has engineered the Digital Stealthview 5x42 with a Supercharged Infrared Monocular to produce images with resolution that rivals costly Generation 2 optics. Using a powerful infrared spotlight that produces sharp images even in pitch darkness, the Stealthview monocular is suited for a wide variety of applications including security and surveillance, camping, night fishing, navigation, and wildlife observation.
This infrared technology works by providing a light source for the Stealthview system to amplify and collect through an objective lens. The light is then processed through an image sensor and transferred to an in-view black-and-white micro-display, which features CMOS technology for superior LCD resolution. The resulting digital image can then be transmitted to video camcorders, laptops, and television screens via a video output port.
Designed for use in a variety of terrains, the lightweight Stealthview monocular features a weather resistant, ergonomically shaped body and an adjustable eyepiece for added comfort during prolonged use. The Stealthview monocular operates on six AA batteries and provides up to two hours of continuous run time with the infrared spotlight on and up to four hours of runtime without the infrared spotlight. Built to last, the Stealthview Monocular carries a two year limited warranty from Bushnell.
