• 24-50 MM
• STANDARD ZOOM
• SILENT AF
The compact size of this NIKKOR Z lens will make you question all you thought you knew about full-frame zoom lenses. As the smallest and lightest full-frame zoom around¹, the NIKKOR Z 24-50mm leaves bulky and heavy behind. Small and sharp, it’s ready to capture life the way you see it. Wherever you are.
Easy to bring along
This NIKKOR Z lens is made for the moment. It’s always comfortable to carry, and the button-free retractable lens mechanism is quick and easy to use. You simply extend or retract the lens by rotating the zoom ring.
Rich with possibility
Expansive landscapes and scene-setting interiors. Captivating portraits and candid street shots. There’s not much you can’t capture with a zoom lens this versatile. And nowhere you can’t go with a zoom lens this small and quiet.
Superb image quality
Thanks to the Z mount's impressive light-gathering capability, photos and videos are beautifully sharp and evenly illuminated throughout the frame. Advanced Nikon lens technologies minimise the edge distortion that can occur when shooting at wider focal lengths, for exceptionally clear results.
PEOPLE WILL LOOK
This lens may be compact but its images are big. It covers some of the most iconic focal lengths out there with eye-catching detail and frame-filling sharpness.
TELL THE STORY
Move closer at 24 mm, 35 mm, or 50 mm. A minimum focus distance of just 0.35 m throughout the zoom range puts you in control of the frame—from close-up to infinity.
FULL OF LIFE
ED glass and aspherical lens elements minimise distortion. You get sharp images with vivid colour and deep contrast even when shooting at wider focal lengths.
Great for movies
With its natural, wide perspectives, the NIKKOR Z 24-50mm is the perfect chance to show more of a scene. Combined with your Nikon Z full-frame camera, you get steady 4K footage even if you film while walking. And focus breathing is supressed when adjusting focus for smoother, more professional-looking results.
Thanks to the additional light gathered by the Z mount and an ultra-quiet stepping motor, focusing is fast, silent, and accurate. If shooting portraits, Eye-Detection AF will keep focus where you want it.
The customisable control ring offers quick, silent access to key camera settings. Use it for aperture control (great for fading in or out during video recording), exposure compensation, or ISO adjustments.
