VOICE BALANCER IMPROVES AUDIO PLAYBACK QUALITY
When recordings contain multiple speakers, the Voice Balancer makes smaller voices louder and ensures that louder voices stay within a given level, providing playback where everyone can be heard. This comes in handy when recording sound sources from multiple positions, by eliminating the lower and higher frequencies, the voice of the speakers are even more enhanced.
INTELLIGENT AUTO MODE AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTS MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY
With previous models, it was necessary to adjust the microphone sensitivity according to the recording environment, such as the number of people or the size of the meeting space. The new Intelligent Auto Mode function makes it easier for users by automatically adjusting the microphone sensitivity according to the volume of the speaker. To set this function, select Auto for the recording level from the menu.
SIMPLE MODE, PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS
With two built-in display modes this recorder supports various user levels. The Simple Mode supports beginners by having the recorder display only the necessary information in large font. It also limits the functions in the menu to those which are frequently used. For advanced users, the Normal Mode with full functionality is recommended.

Transfer data conveniently anytime with the built-in USB connector. The USB connects to your PC or Mac to transfer recordings from the device to an external drive. Each recorder comes with two rechargeable batteries to take advantage of the recorders internal battery charge function. The WS-853 is designed to charge the battery cells safely and efficiently.
