The Nikon lightweight aluminum Camera Cage from SmallRig protects and provides accessory mounting for your Nikon Z8 camera. This formfitting cage maintains access to all the camera's controls, battery, and SD card slots, and it features a variety of mounting options. The camera secures onto the cage using a 1/4"-20 camera screw with a locating pin, and a side locking adapter further prevents twisting.
In addition to one shoe mount, a side NATO rail, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage incorporates ARRI-style locating holes for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted. There are also QD (Quick Detach) mounts and strap slots for even more options. The cage also has a built-in Arca-type quick release plate on the bottom for tripod mounting.
