These terms and conditions are provided by the Camera Centre (Dublin) Limited (referred to as ‘us’, or, ‘we’ or ‘the Camera Centre’) for the information of visitors (referred to as ‘you’ or ‘your’) to our website. This website is only for use by persons who have attained the age of 18 years and over.
The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
Please note that different terms (including prices, delivery charges and delivery times) may apply to purchases made in one of our stores. Very occasionally, the price displayed in your local store may differ from the price quoted on this website; this may be due to a store sale of ex-display stock or similar other price fluctuation.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to you. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on this website. You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order to ensure that you are familiar with the current terms and conditions prevailing at the time you place your order.

Description of Goods
All the products we sell are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter and specifications advertised on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites.
The intention of the Camera Centre is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
Payment and Price:
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order or purchase a similar product.
All prices on our website are in euro and are inclusive of VAT and subject to delivery charges which are indicated at the time of placing an order.

You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account which is provided by the Camera Centre (Dublin) Limited. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or any breach of security.
We use Realex Payments to provide a secure and reliable payment processing service. Realex payments are approved and certified by many financial institutions. There are several technological layers in place to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information. All information when in transit is encrypted (128 bits) to ensure the privacy of sensitive information. Realex payments have been accredited with Account Information Security certification by Visa. Realex payments are registered with the data protection Commissioner as a ‘data processor’. Cardholder information is encrypted and not displayed in our reporting systems.
Acceptance of Order:
Any email or other acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.
Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract take place when the goods you have ordered have been dispatched to you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation policy.
We reserve the right not to supply goods and to cancel your order in the event of a pricing error or omission.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Laser. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, matching the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 10 days.
Availability of Goods:
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
All delivery charges will be added to the price of the products at our checkout.
We will endeavour to deliver consumer products within the Republic of Ireland within 5 working days from clearance of payment. Delivery of products outside the Republic of Ireland will take approximately 10 working days. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates specified for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If our suppliers or we are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position In respect of unforeseen delays from our suppliers you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods. Alternatively, you can opt to purchase a similar product of equal value. At the time of delivery you will be required to validly sign for the product at which time the product becomes your sole responsibility.
Click & Collect
Click & Collect allows you to place an order online and collect in-store free of charge. Simply add the item(s) to your shopping Cart, choose free in-store collection as a delivery method at the branch you require to collect and proceed to checkout as normal. You will receive an Order Confirmation email almost immediately. Note: if you select to collect from the Blanchardstown branch, please allow 4 working days for collection subject to availability of stock.
When collecting your 'Click & Collect' order, you must bring your confirmation email and photo ID to collect your goods. This Photo ID must be in the form of a current Passport, Driving License or Garda ID. Warning - should you fail to produce the required documentation at the point of collection, we will unfortunately not be able to release the goods to you at this time. No exceptions to this policy will be accepted.
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery. Under no circumstances can products be collected from any of our stores.
Time Limitation for Notification of Claims:
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery. We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date. If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account.
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturer's Guarantee for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise stated. In addition routine maintenance (cleaning of dirty audio/video heads etc.), consumables (styli, plug fuses, cables, batteries, etc.), cosmetic damage and tuning of channels are not covered. If there is a fault or defect with your product within 12 months of delivery we will repair it, or, if that is not possible, give you a replacement, or if that is not possible, a refund. This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. For consumable items (such as batteries, camera films etc) the guarantee period is three months from delivery.
In the event that you return an item to us it is important that you do not return anything to want to keep. For example, any memory cards, video tapes, DVD’s or other items returned with your product may not be located and returned to you.

Cancellation of Orders, Returns, Refunds and Repairs:
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked. We cannot cancel your purchase or refund your money if you return the product without proof of purchase.
To protect your personal security, we are unable to accept returns on non-faulty imaging and recording products such as MP3 players, camcorders, digital cameras, mobile phones, sat navs, Apple products personal Bluetooth headsets (for hygiene reasons) etc. Refunds are not made in respect of top-ups, ringtones or graphics, personal Bluetooth headsets (for hygiene reasons). If you purchase a defective pay as you go phone we cannot refund any unused top-up credit. Please contact your mobile broadband network or home broadband provider if your modem is faulty.
Use our store finder to ascertain if there is a camera centre store near you. If there is, take the product there as we can often repair faults the same day. If we are unable to do so, the product will be sent to the manufacturer or our repair workshop. If you require your phone to be repaired it is important that you back up any data stored on your phone prior to repair as occasionally data can be erased during the repair.
As iPhones have to be sent to Apple for repair, you will get your product back quicker if you bypass us and contact Apple directly. In most cases, accidental damage can be repaired but there will be a charge to do so.
Items sold on our website are generally intended for normal domestic and consumer use and not for re-sale or commercial use.

Mobile Phone Top –Ups and International Call Cards:
Because of the nature of these products, we reserve the right to refuse to exchange or refund once the customer has received the goods. It is the responsibility of the consumer to identify their network operator or service provider.

Our maximum liability to business users arising out of or in conjunction with the products shall be limited to the placement value of the product in question (except; in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or in respect of fraud). In relation to business users, we do not accept liability for the fitness of goods for business purposes, nor do we accept liability for loss of use of the item or any loss over and above the cost of the item in the event of a claim for breach of warranty or condition.
You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related reservation for products to any third party unless agreed upon in writing with us.

If you purchase a television from us please note that the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1972 requires us to notify An Post within 28 days of each transaction, giving full details of the purchaser.
